The 3 populace shoots were run as follows:
- Castle Window was at 25 yards and timed (30 seconds).
- Clout was again 40'; 1 point in clout circle, 2 points on tower, and 3 points in tower window; 6 shots, untimed.
- Enemies were untimed; 6 distances were 20 through 70 yards; archers had 6 shots but could score only once on each target.
- Everyone could shoot the war points TWICE, and they could be shot on the same day.

Archery Champions Team Tournement    (1 war point; shot Monday 8/4/2008)
This year there were two teams of 36, plus 4 alternates.
- The Roving or Woods shoot had a "Princess Bride" theme at 10 stations.
- The Long Distance shoot was a 1 minute "Iron Man" Clout Shoot.
- The Friend/Foe target was at 25 yards and timed (30 seconds). The image was of two intertwined dragons, with positive scoring only on one part of the red dragon, zero on the rest of the red dragon, and negative scoring on any part of the purple dragon.
